Dashboards and data analysis
Reliable indicators and Power BI or Metabase dashboards your team actually uses, built from the data you already have.
When a dashboard becomes necessary
- Monthly reports take several days of exports and copy-and-paste.
- The numbers change depending on who you ask or which file you open.
- Data is scattered across an ERP, the accounting system, Excel files and other applications.
- Management wants to track sales, margins or operations without waiting for month-end.
The starting point is always the decision to support: which number, for whom, how often and with which definition.

How an engagement unfolds
1. Clarify the indicators
Business questions, users, definitions, sources and how often each indicator is reviewed.
2. Prepare the data
Connections to the agreed sources, transformations, the data model and reconciliation checks.
3. Design the dashboard
Pages, filters and visuals suited to the people who will use them, with the appropriate access.
4. Validate and hand over
User testing, documentation, a refresh guide and training.
Power BI or Metabase?
The choice depends on your sources, users, licences and security requirements. It is confirmed with you before work begins.
Power BI
Often a good fit for organizations already working in Microsoft 365. How reports are shared determines the licences required.
Metabase
An open-source analytics tool, available as a cloud service or hosted in your own environment. Useful for querying a database directly.
Potential deliverables
- A documented data model and reconciliation checks against source totals.
- A dashboard published in your environment, with the agreed access.
- A KPI dictionary: definition, source, calculation and owner.
- A refresh and maintenance guide, and user training.
Exact deliverables are set out in the proposal. Success depends on access to the agreed sources and on someone from your team being available to validate definitions and results.
